You can view this site by visiting [link removed] You can also upload your eBooks with any ftp server: ftp.nbci.com l: mose250 p: ebook please upload into the eBooks directory please upload zip files of format "Author name - book name.zip" - see the site for examples I hope that people will use this - I've posted what I think are some pretty high-quality books that I formatted (the books are high-quality, not necessarily the formatting ). I dought anyone wants them in their archives but if the do let me know and I will send them to you. I plan to do some real books in the future.

There's also some new Dune books out. (The ones you've done and "Chapterhouse" are the ' classis' Dune books.) The new ones are definitely still copyrighted, I wouldn't suggest making eBooks out of them yet (unless the copyright restrictions don't cover unpaid re-distribution...) But if you've done the first four, you really ought to have the fifth in the series too. Anyway, that's just my input. Eye/Onus

I don't have "Chapterhouse" either electronic or hard-copy. I do know that with a scanner and a text-reader program you could scan the hard-copy into a txt file... My U has a scanner at one of the labs, but not a text-reader. (The text-reader program scans pages and figures out where and what the type is and turns it into a file you can edit in a word processor, so if you scanned the front page of a magazine, for example Entertainment Weekly, it would find "Entertainment Weekly" when it scanned it, recognize it as text, and make it so you could change it to like "Edutainment Monthly" or something without messing with the rest of the scanned stuff. Quote: Webspace; there is no official maximum amount of space, but if you are going to need more than about 30mb, make sure to tell us ahead of time (hint: 30mb is a LOT!). ). I believe he has most of the ebooks, but I don't want to post his email address here for fear he will be flooded with requests. I noticed a few people commenting that they haven't been able to access it, and I saw that the site's been changed.. However the url hasn't been updated. I have.. a lot of text format ebooks that I would like to contribute. Heh, right now I have about 280 mb of textfile ebooks. Some of that is in error, because I use an RCA Ebook reader, and I've converted some to the REB format I need in order for my reader to read them. However, in each case, I preserved the original text, and they're organized (for the most part) by author or genre. I've been looking to add a few by Michael Crighton (namely "The Andromeda Strain", one of my favorite books) and I noticed it was listed among the ones you have available. I figure today's as good a day as any, so I'll set up a ftp service on my other box, and leave it on so people can access my ebooks. I'll post when I have it set up with the necessary information.
