Using one type or another is a matter of taste.
I like ttstart better because:
* when a new launcher version is needed, that's only one program to update. This is less of an issue than it used to be, but when the V200 and 89T appeared, the file archives were full of old pstarters that didn't work on modern models.

What ttstart is still useful for on the Titanium is to run compressed programs.
