Tools Suite Compilation Questions

I'm trying to compile the Tools Suite on my Mac for use with an eBook Generator program I'm writing. When I compile the tools, I get warnings about pointer targets differing in signedness. I'm using gcc 4.0, the default in 10.5 (Leopard). I get the same results whether compiling through Xcode or using the makelinux.sh (I have the results of the makelinux.sh if that would be helpful).

ExtGraph's floodfill routines seem not to work for me. This is not intended to be a bug report, since this function used to work just fine, leaving the error to me. Now, it just fills up one or two rows of the area, as shown here:

I was wondering what ttstart really does and if it could help me by making my program titanium-compatible? (More in general, do I need a custom launcher for larger programs to run on a Titanium?)

I downloaded nesquick (nes emulator for 68k calcs) and the read-me tells to convert the roms using ttbin2oth.exe. I tried using it but couldnt generate anything. Can someone explain how to convert roms using that program ?

The Purpose of some TT Functions

In the Tools Suite I have utilized functions like ttppggen and ttebkgen to their full extents,
but looking at other functions like ttarchive/ttunarchive and ttpack/ttunpack,
1a. what is their purpose?

Tilemaps and double buffering

All of the gray functions for the tilemap engine require a seperate continuous buffer to copy to and the examples use memcpy to trasfer those buffers to the vissible grey planes. However the gray libraries directly support double buffering but wont return a continuous plane that can be used with the timemap engine. Since the buffers supplied to the grey library is continuous would it be possible(and safe) to use the lower plane in memory returned by the library with the tilemap engine?

ttunpack_decompress is distributed as an hex array which is casted to a function. I have two questions about this:
-- Will it work as is with the new version of TIGCC ?
-- Even if it works, is there a reason not to use the original source (I think it's asm_unpck.c in directory old ?) and recompile it together with my program, which would allow me to declare the function as static inline and thus gain space and speed, as it is called at only one place ?
